Privacy

Grid Games is a free, unofficial Formula 1 prediction game run by a private individual in India as a hobby project. This page explains exactly what the app stores about you and how to have it removed. Questions go to chaudharisk10@gmail.com.

01

What we store

  • Your email address, and a password if you choose one. Needed to sign you in and to recognise you when you come back. You give your email either by creating an account with a password or by signing in with Google. A password is stored only by our authentication provider, Supabase, in hashed form (a one-way scramble that cannot be turned back into the password); the game itself never sees it. Account confirmation and password reset links are sent to your email address.
  • Your handle. The display name you choose. See the warning below — this one is public.
  • Your predictions and scores. Which drivers you picked for each race, when you saved them, and the points those picks earned.
  • Sign-in records. Our authentication provider, Supabase, keeps session and login timestamps. When you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with Supabase. The app shows your picture only on your own Profile page, and uses your name only to suggest a handle, which you can change. Other players only ever see your handle. Our game server stores your account ID and handle, not your name, email or picture.
  • Server logs. Our servers and hosting providers keep short-lived request logs (time, path, response status, and network address) for debugging and abuse prevention.
What is public

Your handle and your points appear on a leaderboard that anyone with the link can see, without signing in. That is the whole point of the game, but it means you should pick a handle you are comfortable being seen. Your email address is never shown to other players.

02

What we do not do

  • No payments of any kind, so we never see card or bank details.
  • No advertising, no ad networks, no tracking pixels, no analytics.
  • No selling, renting or sharing your data with anyone for marketing.
  • No location tracking, no contacts, no device fingerprinting.
03

Cookies

Only what sign-in requires. One cookie holds your login session so you stay signed in between visits; it is removed when you sign out. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to consent to.

04

Who processes your data

  • Supabase — database and sign-in. Your data is stored in their Mumbai (India) region.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the website and the game server.
  • Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”, to confirm who you are and share your name, email address and profile picture with Supabase.

Official race results are read from a public motorsport results feed. Nothing about you is ever sent to it.

05

Deleting your data

Email chaudharisk10@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask for deletion. Your account, handle and predictions will be removed, normally within a few days. You can also ask for a copy of what is stored about you. There is no in-app delete button yet.

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. Predictions for past races are kept so season standings stay correct, and are deleted with the rest of your account when you ask.

06

Children

Grid Games is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and it will be removed.

07

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the new version appears here.
