Terms of Use
Grid Games is a free Formula 1 prediction game run by a private individual in India as a hobby project. By using it you agree to what follows. If you disagree, please do not use the app. Questions go to chaudharisk10@gmail.com.
- There are no entry fees, deposits, subscriptions or payments, ever.
- There is no wagering, betting or staking of money or anything of value.
- Points and leaderboard positions are for bragging rights only. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged, transferred, cashed out or redeemed for anything.
- There is no prize pool, and nothing is ever collected from players. If a prize is ever offered it will be funded by the operator, fixed, and announced in advance.
Not affiliated with Formula 1
Grid Games is an unofficial fan project. It is not associated with, endorsed by or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, any team, or any driver. “Formula 1”, “F1”, team names and driver names are the property of their respective owners. Your account
- One account per person. Keep your password and access to your email secure: password reset links are sent there.
- Choose a handle that is not offensive, misleading, or impersonating someone else. Handles that break this can be changed or removed.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
How the game works
- For each race you pick two drivers from the top four teams and one wildcard from any other team.
- Predictions close 10 minutes before the race starts. You can change your picks freely until then; after that they are locked. The deadline is enforced by the server, so a countdown still showing time left is never a guarantee — save early.
- Your score for a race is the sum of the official championship points your three drivers score in it, with your wildcard’s points counted twice from the United States Grand Prix onwards. Races before that counted the wildcard once. Season standings are the sum of your race scores.
- Results are taken from the official classification after the race. If results are later corrected — including by stewards after the flag — scores and standings are updated to match.
Fair play
No multiple accounts, no automated or scripted entries, and no attempts to interfere with the service or other players’ entries. Accounts doing any of this may be removed along with their scores.
Availability
This is a hobby project provided free of charge and “as is”. It may be unavailable, delayed, or discontinued at any time without notice, and results entry depends on third-party data. We do not guarantee that scores or standings will always be accurate or that the service will be available at any particular moment — including immediately before a deadline.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Grid Games, including missed deadlines, lost or incorrect predictions, incorrect scores, or unavailability of the service.
Changes
These terms and the game rules may change — scoring, deadlines and format included. Material changes update the date at the top. Continuing to use Grid Games after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
